We have designed our team structure to give you the strategic strength of an in-house fundraising team, without the full-time hire. You’ll work with one of our account managers and fractional fundraisers to guide your strategy and implement your fundraising plan. Depending on the scope of your engagement, we may also bring in trusted collaborators to support with systems, marketing, or other services tailored to your needs - always aligned with your goals and your budget.
Fractional Fundraising Team
This is the team responsible for your strategy and fundraising plan implementation. You’ll work closely with one or more of us throughout the engagement, depending on the scope and focus of your project.
Founder & Principal Consultant
Tanya Wall
Tanya Wall (she/her) is a fundraising strategist with over two decades of experience working in and with nonprofits. Having spent her career in both frontline service and fundraising, she understands the challenges organizations face firsthand.

Originally from Ontario and now based in Nova Scotia, Tanya specializes in individual giving programs, including annual giving, peer-to-peer campaigns, major giving, and planned giving. She has hands-on experience across all aspects of fundraising, from strategy development to campaign execution, with deep expertise in donor databases, CRM optimization, and donor storytelling.
Whitney Sallach
Senior Account Manager &
Fractional Fundraiser
Whitney Sallach (she/her) made the jump into fundraising after beginning her career in community journalism, and has never looked back. Through fundraising roles at hospital foundations, Whitney found a love for storytelling and donor engagement.

Fun Fact: Whitney is an active volunteer with her local Rotary Club, and never turns down an opportunity to bake.
Kelly Chan
Junior Account Manager & Fractional Fundraiser
Kelly Chan (she/her) is a fundraising consultant who transitioned into the nonprofit sector after a 13-year career as a dental hygienist. She supports mission-driven organizations by building authentic relationships that drive meaningful impact.

Business Management Special
Keerene (she/her) is a management consultant and growth marketer with extensive experience supporting businesses and nonprofits. With a background in strategy, marketing, and business development, she understands the challenges organizations face firsthand.

Digital Marketing Specialist
Jake Smith (he/him) is a digital marketing strategist with expertise in branding, content creation, and community engagement. At CCC, he manages the website, social media, branding and marketing strategy, ensuring CCC’s presence is consistent and mission-aligned.

At CCC: Jake leads digital marketing efforts, overseeing the design and upkeep of the website, managing social platforms, and shaping CCC’s brand voice. His focus is on creating compelling, inclusive content that builds meaningful connections and amplifies CCC’s impact.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, Jake enjoys networking, community events, and creative projects. He loves experimenting with makeup and fashion and is always finding ways to make marketing both powerful and accessible.

Ellie Burnham
Fundraising Comms & CRM Specialist

Ellie (she/her) is a seasoned nonprofit professional with over six years of experience in social impact communications and fundraising. Holding a Master’s degree in International Studies, her work has taken her across North and Central America to serve both international and local nonprofits.
With years under her belt as both a nonprofit employee and a consultant, she deeply understands clients’ needs for efficiency and consistency in projects and strives to deliver results that drive maximum resources to the cause.
Now based in Vancouver, BC, Ellie brings cultural competency and a passion for building just and equitable communities to every project she undertakes.
At CCC: Ellie plans and executes strategic communications such as digital and direct mail fundraising campaigns, leads CRM optimization and data analysis, and manages all manners of projects.
Fun Fact: Ellie enjoys dance, trying different hobbies, and hanging out with her rescued street dog at home in Vancouver.
Vanessa Burns
Grant Consultant

Vanessa Burns (she/her) is the founder of Vanessa Burns Grant Consulting. With 20+ years in fundraising, she helps clients build sustainable, equity-driven grant strategies. Since 2020, she’s helped secure $3M+, with 30% going to Black and Indigenous-led orgs. She’s a CGLCC Diverse Supplier, GPA member, and outdoor adventurer often found hiking, climbing, or exploring with her dog, Arthur.
At CCC: Vanessa supports clients in developing inclusive, equity-driven grant strategies, helping organizations build long-term sustainability through thoughtful funding approaches.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, you’ll find Vanessa climbing mountains, scaling frozen waterfalls, or exploring remote trails with her Border Collie, Arthur.
Johanna Carabello
Web Designer & Marketing Strategist

Johanna Caraballo (she/her) is a Social Impact Web Designer & Marketing Strategist with 6+ years of experience supporting nonprofits and startups. Based in Calgary, she blends design and strategy to build purpose-driven digital experiences. At CCC, she develops fundraising pages and strengthens brand identity to help clients increase impact. She's also a passionate cook inspired by global flavours.
At CCC: Johanna designs and develops fundraising campaign pages while providing ongoing web support to ensure seamless digital experiences. She also helps strengthen non-profits’ brand identities and develop creative campaign strategies that enable clients to build authentic engagement and achieve tangible results.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, you’ll find Johanna in the kitchen as a passionate cook who finds inspiration in flavors from around the world and loves trying new culinary adventures.
Parker Johnson
Campaign & Digital Fundraising Specialist

Parker Johnson (he/him) is an award-winning content creator and business owner based in Calgary, Alberta.
At CCC: He leads creative strategy and content development, drawing on more than a decade of experience in communications, business development, and management. A product of rural Oklahoma, Parker’s early exposure to community-based institutions sparked a lifelong passion for supporting social impact work. His background spans nonprofits, construction, academia, and healthcare, giving him a diverse perspective that informs his approach to storytelling and brand building. In 2021, he founded Cottonwood Creative, a cross-border marketing agency supporting social impact organizations around the world.

Serving a diverse range of industries within CCC’s client base, he finds it inspiring to help mission-driven organizations share their stories, connect with their audiences, and amplify their impact every day.

Rebecca Wolfe
Corp Sponsorships & Fundraising Specialist

Rebecca, (she/her), is a project-based development officer with over five years of fundraising experience, specializing in corporate sponsorships, event management, and communications. She’s proud of her work with Shakespeare by the Sea, Eastern Front Theatre, and smaller non-profits, bringing a mix of strategic planning, marketing, and relationship-building to every project.
CCC: At CCC, Rebecca supports teams in crafting creative fundraising strategies and strengthening stakeholder connections.
Fun Fact: She grew up dancing and has been performing in The Nutcracker every year since she was 11-years-old!
