Tanya Wall (she/her) is a fundraising strategist with over two decades of experience working in and with nonprofits. Having spent her career in both frontline service and fundraising, she understands the challenges organizations face firsthand.

Parker Johnson (he/him) is an award-winning content creator and business owner based in Calgary. In 2021, he founded Cottonwood Creative, a cross-border marketing agency supporting social impact organizations worldwide.

Originally from Ontario and now based in Nova Scotia, Tanya specializes in individual giving programs, including annual giving, peer-to-peer campaigns, major giving, and planned giving. She has hands-on experience across all aspects of fundraising, from strategy development to campaign execution, with deep expertise in donor databases, CRM optimization, and donor storytelling.
Tanya also helps organizations build story banks to capture and share authentic narratives from donors, volunteers, and program participants, ensuring compelling storytelling is at the heart of fundraising and engagement efforts.
Through Collaborative Cause Consulting, she and her team provide nonprofits with comprehensive fundraising support, including individual giving, corporate sponsorships, grants, communications, and digital fundraising strategies, helping organizations grow their revenue and deepen donor relationships.

A product of rural Oklahoma, Parker was exposed to community-based institutions and causes at an early age and developed a deep appreciation and love for charity work. Parker brings with him more than a decade of communications, business development, creative, and management experience for top companies across a variety of sectors, including nonprofits, construction, academia, and healthcare.
At CCC: As a member of the Collaborative Cause team, Parker provides donor messaging strategy and development for clients, ensuring campaigns are carefully tailored to their mission and purpose.
Fun Fact: In his free time, Parker enjoys hiking, camping, film photography, traveling, and game nights with friends.

Rebecca (she/her) is a project-based development officer with 5+ years of fundraising experience, specializing in corporate sponsorships, event management, and communications. She’s proud of her work with Shakespeare by the Sea, Eastern Front Theatre, and smaller non-profits, bringing strategic planning, marketing, and relationship-building to every project.

Account Manager & Fractional Fundraiser
Whitney Sallach (she/her) made the jump into fundraising after beginning her career in community journalism, and has never looked back. Through fundraising roles at small and large hospital foundations, Whitney found a love for storytelling and donor engagement. She was thrilled to join the Innisfil Community Foundation in 2023, to support charities in her own backyard.

Brittany Peterson (she/her) lives in Edson, Alberta, with her husband and five wonderful kids on their scenic farm. She serves as an executive assistant for ROSAPEL, ensuring seamless operations. With a passion for family and nature, she finds joy in outdoor adventures and quality time together.

Jake Smith (he/him) is a digital marketing strategist with expertise in branding, content creation, and community engagement. As the founder of his own brand, Beauty & Business by Jake, he helps entrepreneurs build strong, authentic brands through social media marketing.

With years under her belt as both a nonprofit employee and a consultant, she deeply understands clients’ needs for efficiency and consistency in projects and strives to deliver results that drive maximum resources to the cause.
Now based in Vancouver, BC, Ellie brings cultural competency and a passion for building just and equitable communities to every project she undertakes.
At CCC: Ellie plans and executes strategic communications such as digital and direct mail fundraising campaigns, leads CRM optimization and data analysis, and manages all manners of projects.
Fun Fact: Ellie enjoys dance, trying different hobbies, and hanging out with her rescued street dog at home in Vancouver.

Sebastian Muermann (he/him/il) is a philanthropy and GR manager based in Tiohtià:ke / Montreal. He has worked in roles in fundraising, advocacy, and partnership development. His work is focused on improving the health and working environment for Canadian charities and non-profits, through direct advocacy relating to equity and diversity, anti-poverty and disability justice.

Specializing in growth strategy, integrated marketing, operations efficiency, and revenue optimization, she helps businesses thrive.

Sebastian completed an MPP at the Max Bell School at McGill University, and a B.Sc Honours from the University of Ottawa as a Loran Scholar. Sebastian speaks three languages, and is interested in Canadian civil society support, and working with communities of practice at the local level.
At CCC: Sebastian works with clients to develop partnerships and build their fundraising capacity.
Fun Fact: In his free time, he fosters animals and works on DIY projects around his home.
